Effective January 1st, 2021, the Idaho Division of Building Safety Adopted Codes were the 2018 International Building Code and the 2020 Idaho Residential Code (2018 IRC parts I, II, III and IX with Idaho amendments). Idaho Code 39-4109 defines how local government are able to adopt and enforce the building codes that have been adopted by the Idaho Building Code Board.
